Management consulting firm, Korn Ferry, has announced its move to a single unified brand, as part of its makeover plans.

Korn Ferry will phase out its legacy brands in its attempt to establish a more integrated approach to the marketplace. Korn Ferry had acquired Hay Group in 2015. Earlier too, it has acquired over a dozen companies between 2000 and 2015—Westgate Group, JobDirect, Lominger, LeaderSource, Lore International, Whitehead Manna, SENSA Solutions, Avature Argentina Recruiting Business, Avature USA Recruiting Business, Global Novations, Personnel Decisions International, Ninth House and Pivot Leadership.

The amalgamated brand will combine the collective power of Korn Ferry, as an enterprise, instead of distinctive segments or individual lines of business.

The strategy is aimed at highlighting the firm’s commitment and expertise to offer robust, integrated solutions reflective of the needs of its client base, in terms of talent and organisational requirements.

Korn Ferry had acquired Hay Group in 2015. It is a client-centric move according to Navnit Singh, chairman & country head, Korn Ferry India. This unification will unite everything from Korn Ferry’s talent and solutions to its data and insights. With the collective expertise, the Company aims to help its clients and their people “exceed their potential”.

Following the one-brand alignment, the global organisational consulting firm will now be represented as Korn Ferry in the market, with a more solutions and industries –orientation. Its core offerings will be:

    • Executive search
    • Advisory (formerly branded as Hay Group)
    • RPO and professional search (formerly branded as Futurestep)

In Singh’s words, “Korn Ferry offers a unique value proposition. Today, the challenge for any leader is harmonising strategy with talent. And, that is what we’re building – a firm that has the unique expertise to synchronise our clients’ strategies and talent to help them drive superior performance.”

Korn Ferry serves customers in over 50 countries, helping them with their organisational strategy, assessment and succession, talent acquisition, leadership development as well as rewards & benefits.
