Dukaan, the user-friendly app that facilitates the setting up of online stores, is looking for engineers. It is looking to increase the strength of its core engineering team to at least 150.

The SaaS platform that helps merchants set up e-commerce stores, has helped establish more than 3.5 million small and medium-sized businesses across India and facilitated their growth and management.

The engineers will be hired for its office in Bengaluru. As its website says, it is “not in the business of building digital storefronts, but in the business of building entrepreneurs.”

The Company hopes to see millions of neighbourhood shopkeepers taking their shops or dukaans directly to the customers without any physical boundaries. To succeed in this goal, Dukaan is keen to hire talented engineers who can help build the infrastructure, frontends, backends and apps.

The android app has already been downloaded more than six million times. It is capable of adapting to the behaviour of its users and accordingly reveal or hide features depending on the stage at which the sellers are in the process of creation of their online stores.

It has recently rolled out two 2 iOS apps, for sellers and buyers, respectively, which are updated regularly.
