    DXC Technology to go for campus hiring in 2020, will recruit 5,000 engineers

    DXC Technology, the American multinational B2B IT service provider, is gearing to hit the campuses across India, to hire freshers next year.
    The Company is looking at hiring fresh graduates equipped with skills in analytics and software to handle their engineering jobs, from the top institutions of the country.

    Presently, of the Company’s 138,000 strong workforce spread across the globe, comprises 40,000 employees based in India.

    The organisation is attempting to focus on its staff and strengthen its employee value proposition. Ensuring that the members of the workforce have clarity with regard to how their careers will progress in the Company is on top of DXC’s HR agenda. It also plans to ensure that the employees are presented with opportunities to work with new clients and also the opportunities to reskill and retrain.

    The Company also aims to devise a strategy to concentrate on assisting customers across the infrastructure technology outsourcing (ITO), cloud and security services, applications and industry IP, data, analytics and engineering services, and advisory space.

    In India, DXC Technology focuses on insurance, banking, manufacturing and healthcare. Globally, it operates in the United Kingdom, North and South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Ireland, Israel, Africa and the Middle East.

    Its net loss this year was $2.1 billion as compared to $259 million in 2018.
