Intuit, the American financial software company, is gearing to expand its team in India, by hiring at least 350 engineers. The AI-powered platform that assists customers in dealing with financial challenges, will recruit talent in the areas of software engineering, product design, product management, data science, risk analytics, and data engineering, at entry, mid- and senior levels. It already has a 1000+ strong workforce in the country.

The Company is trying to make the most of quality tech talent available in India as part of its attempt to grow its key tech capabilities and drive innovation for its global products and platforms.

The firm is keen to take on professionals possessing a passion for innovation and the ability to solve financial problems. Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), data science, cloud, open-source and natural language understanding are what the candidates require to be able to fit into the Company’s customer-oriented culture for innovation.

The primary goals the Company aims to achieve include scaling the intelligence of the products with the help of a virtual expert platform and enhancing customer experiences, among other things. It hopes to help small businesses achieve success.

Intuit has managed to increase its customer base by 70 per cent in the last one year. Its customers’ wait time for services has dropped by 15 per cent. The Company is looking forward to its customer base increasing by 90 per cent this year.

With the use of AI, machine learning and natural language processing, Intuit’s AI can scan and read a tax document, recognise the document type and decide how to use and process that information.
