    IIM Calcutta Announces the 13th Batch of the Executive Programme in Human Resource Management with Emeritus

    The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), ranked as the #3 best B-School in India (NIRF, 2021) and #1 as per Business Today ranking (2021), has announced the launch of the thirteenth batch of the Executive Programme in Human Resource Management with Emeritus. This 1-year high-impact programme enables evolving and mid-career professionals, including line managers interested in HRM, with a minimum of two years of work experience to advance their people management capabilities through live online and a four-day in-campus immersion at the IIM Calcutta campus.

    According to a recent Deloitte Insights report (2021), 75% of human resource (HR) professionals say that HR’s accountability will expand, and 84% of professionals say they need to rethink their workforce experience to improve productivity. Shifts in technologies, new market realities, evolving business needs, changing consumer preferences, and even the workday concept in the new normal demand a strategic re-evaluation of business-as-usual workforce management. The Executive Programme in Human Resource Management has an industry-aligned curriculum, designed to help learners develop a sophisticated approach to managing talent and would help leverage employees’ potential to meet business priorities. It would also equip participants with a customer-oriented view of managing human resources across acquisition, retention, competency mapping, job evaluation, fit analysis, and HR analytics.

    The programme offers an immersive learning experience through its focus on shaping people management practices aligned with contemporary modules on HR in the context of industry 4.0, emerging forms of work such as GIG and WFH, DEI (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion), and HR analytics. Participants will be adept at handling the micro and macro-level aspects of human resource management to enable their organisation to achieve workforce resilience, business productivity, and competitive advantage. At the end of this programme, participants will receive a certificate of completion from IIM Calcutta and the prestigious IIM Calcutta Executive Education Alumni Status.

    Commenting on the launch of the thirteenth batch of this programme, Programme Directors, Prof. Amit Dhiman, Professor, Human Resource Management, and Prof. Nimruji Prasad Jammulamadaka, Professor, Organisational Behaviour from IIM Calcutta, said, “As per recent industry reports, human resources in India is expected to grow by 9.8% this year, adding close to 100,000 jobs for qualified professionals. To meet the growing demand of professionals looking to make a high-growth career in HR, we have designed this programme to help participants advance their people management skills to enhance consumer-oriented business growth strategies. Towards the end of the programme, participants will be able to create, manage, and drive empowering strategic HRM initiatives, which will enable their workforce to contribute effectively towards organisational transformation and growth”.

    The thirteenth batch of this programme begins on June 30, 2022, and has a fee of INR 3,25,000 + GST, with flexible payment options and low-cost EMI options available.
