Expresses gratitude for their loyalty & contribution to the company’s present-day success

Paytm, India’s largest mobile payment and commerce platform has always been in the spotlight for its exemplary human resource policies and its constant focus on employee satisfaction. Continuing this emphasis on keeping motivation levels at their peak, Paytm will be gifting iPad Air to 150 members of the staff. The initiative is a means to express gratitude and appreciation for the their unstinted contributions to Paytm’s present day success.

Team-members who have worked with the company for five years and more across all levels, divisions and functions like operations, finance and administration will be awarded with iPads at the Noida-headquartered company which employs about 4,500 people.

Amit Sinha, Sr. Vice President, Paytm said, “Our veteran team members have made extremely significant contributions to our growth story. While working at Paytm and being involved with its game-changing business is highly fulfilling on its own, we wanted to go a step further and show our deep gratitude for their sense of ownership and deep loyalty towards the company. We want our colleagues to build their stories and careers with us as we go along and want them to see how vital their role in the company really is through small efforts such as this.”

Paytm has set aside a $3-4 million kitty this year, besides the usual compensation and variable pay, for its top performing employees. Last year, this kitty was $1 million. Paytm has also announced plans to expand its employee stock option plans (ESOPs) pool, offering ESOPs to around 1,200 employees this year as against 600-700 last year.
