Colliers, the global real-estate consultant, is planning to expand its consultancy business in India. It will hire over 1,000 people for its India team in 2022, which is already 3,000 people strong.
The real-estate company is readying to launch two new services in January as part of its expansion.
It is looking to hire quality talent for project management and for its office, industrial and warehousing as well as capital market segments. These are also the segments where the Company hopes to invest more in the future. It plans to look at maintaining a ‘liquid’ team to help offer stronger services.
Encouraged by the signs of recovery in the real estate sector, including office spaces, houses and shopping malls, the Company, along with expanding the team, also hopes embrace the ideal culture, focus on brand marketing, launch innovative technologies and enhance its client network and relationships.
Of the existing team, about 1,100 members are engaged in facilities management and the rest in project management and other areas.
In 2019, Colliers had acquired a stake in Synergy Property Development Services, the Bengaluru-based project management company.
Colliers India is also hoping to strengthen its research team. It will work on offering enhanced client servicing, new technologies and quality research to gain an edge over competition.
Offering diverse professional and investment management services, Colliers operates across 66 countries with over 15,000 enterprising professionals, providing advice to players in the real estate business.
