Oliver Grohmann, senior vice president, human resources, Emirates Group, highlighted the company’s initiative to leverage technologies and advanced recruitment systems during the hiring process. Innovative tools like digital assessments and artificial intelligence are to be utilised to streamline the selection process and efficiently identify the most suitable candidates.
In the previous financial year, the Emirates Group received 2.7 million applications for various vacancies which reflects the level of interest and competition for the job. This recruitment drive is being held as the group aims to further strengthen its workforce and meet the growing demands of its expanding route network and the addition of new aircraft, such as Airbus A350s and Boeing 777-Xs.
To facilitate the recruitment process, the travel company plans to organise open days and exclusive events in numerous cities throughout the year. These events will provide opportunities for potential candidates to engage with the company to showcase their capabilities and receive instant feedback.
