In a joint decision to boost the capacity of their Building Information Modelling (BIM) Centre in Pune, Neilsoft and Fujita Corporation have announced their ambitious plans. The companies unveiled that they will increase current 90-strong team to an impressive 300-strong team by 2027.
The joint endeavour between Fujita and Neilsoft marks a pivotal moment in advancing BIM technologies and fostering international collaboration in the engineering and construction sectors.
The companies are also expanding co-operation efforts to include BIM into the construction phase, leveraging AI-assisted configurator software development.
Speaking on the initiative, Yoji Okumura, representative director and president, Fujita Corporation, highlighted how the company has been making consistent efforts with Neilsoft over the past four years to overcome the language and cultural challenges. He further added, “We are pleased to announce we are now committed to expanding the scope of the BIM Centre in Neilsoft’s Pune Campus and making it a great success.”
Ketan Bakshi, chairman, Neilsoft, echoed this sentiment, emphasising, “Thanks to Fujita Corporation’s dedication and support, we have made significant strides. We are confident in our ability to expand the BIM Center to accommodate 300 professionals by 2027. Through ongoing technical cooperation, we are pioneering Scan2BIM solutions for reality capture needs and enhancing construction quality monitoring.”
