PGCIL is hiring HR trainees, pay scale from 40,000-1.40 lakhs

The Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), a Maharatna Enterprise of the Government of India, is seeking HR Trainees through the UGC NET December 2022 exam. The registration process for this opportunity will begin on February 11, 2023 and interested candidates have until March 3, 2023  to apply via the official website. 

PGCIL is hiring 27 candidates for AOT (HR) POWERGRID, 3 candidates AOT (HR) CTUIL, and 5 candidates for MT (HR) DVC. 

The interested candidates  should have an Educational Qualification of two years full-time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma/ MBA in HR/ Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Social Work (with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations)/ HRM and Labour Relations/ Labour and Social Welfare from recognised University/Institute with not less than 60 per cent marks.

The candidate must be no older than 28 years of age as of December 31, 2022.

However, there is also age relaxation of 3 years for OBC(NCL) candidates, 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates of 10 years. 

The selected candidates will be paid a salary of Rs 40,000 per month during their one-year training period, which includes basic pay and additional allowances such as IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance), HRA (Housing Rent Allowance), and perks. The salary will also include an additional 12 per cent of the basic pay in the form of perks. After the training period, the candidates will be placed in a pay scale that ranges from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000.
