Sonalika ITL is all set to hire at least 3,000 youth from state-level industrial training institutes or ITIs and other institutes. The objective is to encourage rural and semi-urban youth to join Sonalika’s dealer network teams across the country.

Through this hiring, the existing dealer workforce will expand and increase village coverage. The tractor company seeks to tap talent from the state-level institutes and polytechnics that produce fresh talent every year.

The Company has been consistently selling over one lakh tractors annually, for the last five years (FY’18 to FY’22). It posted the highest ever Q1 sales of 39,274 tractors in FY’23.

Associated with over 13 lakh farmers worldwide, Sonalika ITL exports to over 130 countries.

It is hoped that the new hires will strengthen Sonalika’s Pan India teams as the Company aims to support farmers, while driving farm mechanisation growth. It is also looking at doubling sales every five years.

Interested individuals as well as ITIs can directly contact the Company via www.sonalika.com/hiring.html to speed up the hiring process.

The idea behind picking youngsters from the ITIs, according to Raman Mittal, joint managing director, International Tractors, is that, “Such individuals are dynamic and full of innovative ideas as well as carry readiness to implement their technical know-how in attaining business excellence”.

International Tractors has always believed in bringing “prosperity to the entire farming community”. The fresh talent it hopes to hire will “complement our existing talent pool as we further expedite our journey towards our mission.”
