    Bengaluru Marriot Hotel Whitefield names Roberta F as Director HR

    Roberta Figueiredo is named as the director of human resources at Bengaluru Marriot Hotel Whitefield. Figueiredo comes with an experience of over 10 years in HR function. She has always been in the hospitality industry working with some prestigious companies such as Goa Marriot Resorts & Spa, Courtyard Marriot– Bhopal and Renaissance & Fairfield by Marriot– Lucknow.

    In her new role Figueiredo will be heading the human resource department and will be responsible for developing strategies, objectives, policies and programs for the associates. Moreover, she will be responsible for employee management, training, succession & workforce planning, and performance management.

    Prior to this, Figueiredo was the director of human resources at Conrad Bengaluru owned by Hilton Worldwide holdings.

    Figueiredo began her career as a trainee associate with Goa Marriot Resorts & Spa in 2005 and was majorly involved in campus recruitments. She worked with Goa Marriot Resorts & Spa for seven years honing her skills in HR and various aspects such as performance management, documentation, engagement activities and audits.

    After her stint in Goa, she moved to Courtyard by Marriot in Bhopal as a human resource manager. She worked there for more than three years and then moved to Renaissance & Fairfield by Marriot in Lucknow as director of human resources.

    Figueiredo holds a law degree from V.M Salgaoncar College of Law, Goa University and B. Com degree from M.E.S College of Arts and Commerce, Goa University.
