Deepak Kshirsagar ventures into HR Consultancy space

He quit Bangalore-based Karle Group as vice president & group HR head to begin his own consultancy.

Deepak Kshirsagar has launched a management consultancy firm, ODIES Strategic HR Innovations. Launched in the first week of January 2018, ODIES Strategic HR Innovations is a full-fledged consulting firm dealing with OD interventions, retained executive search, strategic HR and innovations in HR artificial intelligence (HRAI).

“We will help startups and growing organisations by taking them under strategic HR incubation—an area where most of the organisations in India struggle and find it difficult to come out of the traditional approach of HR function,” affirms Kshirsagar.

Kshirsagar has been the vice president and group HR head of Bangalore-based Karle Group. Having been associated with Karle for the last two years, he was heading the group corporate HR function for its three business verticals including apparel manufacturing for exports, real estate / infrastructure and pharmaceuticals.

During its first board meeting held on 9 January 2018, the Board of Directors of ODIES Strategic HR Innovations appointed him to spearhead the organisation as director and principal consultant of HR & management consulting for the client organisations, with effect from January 18 this month.

With over 20 years of experience, Kshirsagar has worked in India and abroad with companies, such as Cadbury’s, Mother’s Recipe, Sobha Developers, Paxar Corporation and Avery Dennison. He returned to India in 2016 from Indonesia, after heading the strategic HR and organisation development function-South East Asia, for steel and mining giant, ArcelorMittal (L.N.Mittal group holdings -Mittal Steels)for seven years.
