Diageo India, the alcoholic beverages company, has decided to elevate Rohini Seth to a global role, as the HR director, ISC. Prior to this role, Seth was the head-national HR operations, Diageo India.
Seth and her family will be moving to Scotland in a few months. Seth comes with an experience of 24 years in HR and has worked across various sectors. She joined Diageo in 2015 and has transformed the organisation and its people agenda of demand and supply in India.
She has worked in a range of areas, such as organisational structure, talent, capability building and succession planning. In the demand business in India, she played a key role in significantly enhancing the fit for the future organisation through talent hired externally and building capabilities internally. Prior to Diageo, Seth was the head-HR, RB, India and took care of activities ranging from employer branding in campuses to ER at plants.
An alumna of TISC, Seth started her career in HR as a management trainee with Hindustan Unilever. After a three -year stint there she moved to GE where she had the longest stint of 10 years. At GE, she served in various positions, such as HR head, GE commercial finance and GE plastics, and regional training manager. Seth also worked as a senior director HR at PepsiCo India.
