    Disney Star elevates Arnab Pal to executive director – HR, Hindi entertainment & regional East and central functions

    After serving as director – HR – studios and Hindi entertainment, kids and infotainment channels, Disney Star for over four years, Arnab Pal has been elevated to the role of executive director – HR, Hindi entertainment & regional East and central functions.

    An alumnus of the Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar), Pal began his professional journey with Mphasis BPO as a management trainee in 2005. A year later, he moved to Reliance Industries as HRBP. Then came two short stints with i-maritime consultancy as manager – human resources and then with Paradigms Unlimited as managing partner – search business.

    In 2009, he joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as manager – human resources. After managing complete business HR for two divisions, including am anufacturing facility, for almost two years, Pal moved on to Fourcee Infrastructure Equipment as associate vice president & head – human resources for a very short stint.

    The year 2011 saw him playing assistant vice president and head – HR, at Digicable Network India, based out of Mumbai.

    It was in 2012 that Pal began his association with Disney Star as senior manager and HRBP – ad sales. In less than three years he was elevated to assistant vice president & lead HRBP – distribution business. By 2016, he had become vice president & lead HRBP – brand & consumer CoE, big data & tech and Hotstar International. Less than three years into this role, he was once again elevated to the role of director – HR – studios and Hindi entertainment, kids and infotainment channels.

    Known to be a thorough professional, Pal’s ability to think out of the box is one of his biggest strengths say those who have worked with him. HRKatha wishes him more success in his role.
