Sakshi Anand has been appointed as chief human resources officer (CHRO) at Godfrey Phillips India. With over 22 years of experience, Anand has showcased her expertise in various roles within HR.

Anand’s journey began in 2003, when she joined DCM Shriram as a Unit HR Head. After gaining valuable experience, she explored opportunities at Network 18 and Bharti Airtel before returning to DCM Shriram in 2014.

During her tenure at DCM Shriram, she served as the head of HR for the chemical business, and in 2018, she was promoted to the position of CHRO, where she excelled for five years.

Anand holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and further strengthened her HR skills by completing a post-graduate diploma in management with a specialisation in human resources from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development.

In her new role at Godfrey Phillips India, Anand brings a wide range of skills and accomplishments. She is known for designing HR strategies that drive business growth, with a particular focus on organisational design, culture and change management, talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and effective collaboration with business leaders.

Anand’s expertise extends beyond HR strategy and people management. She has played a crucial role in scaling up business operations through effective organisation design, workforce planning, and talent acquisition. She is recognised for her ability to create ‘future-ready organisations’ by implementing HR solutions for talent management and capability building.
