Jombay, the talent assessment and leadership development solutions provider, has roped in Mahesh Balasubramanian as its vice president-sales. Balasubramanian comes with a vast experience in sales, of over 15 years, with various organisations. Prior to this appointment, Balasubramanian was working with SHL, another talent-assessment company, as the business development director- South. He was responsible for covering the southern Indian market, including Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

Coming from a background of media sales, Balasubramanian has also rendered his service to organisations such as Monster.com, Rediff and Aon.

“Jombay’s scientific and scalable solutions for leadership development, learning and assessments found resonance in my view of how the future of this industry is evolving. The market lacks end-to-end assess-to-develop solutions. The Jombay team has found a sweet spot here by using a mix of witty content, new-age facilitation
    and technology enablement,” says Balasubramanian.

Balasubramanian is also a certified sales coach in value-based selling, from the George Washington University.

“At Jombay, we are building the leadership development and assessment company of the future. Mahesh’s extensive experience in consulting with client organisations and building a consultative sales organisation will help expedite Jombay’s mission of becoming the number one leadership development and assessment company in India in the next 12–18 months,” shares Mansi Mehta, founding team member & chief business officer, Jombay.

Apart from this, recently Jombay also announced the appointment of Feroza Engineer, Meeta Lee and Smita Sinha as part of the team to scale client engagements and participate in Jombay’s next level of growth.
