After a successful five-year tenure with Calderys, where he was group talent and development director, Umesh Jadhav has joined Infiiloom as chief human resources officer (CHRO).
Jadhav, who has studied law from the University of Mumbai and holds a master’s degree in human- resource management, industrial relations, labour studies began his professional journey with Ispat Industries as a management trainee in 2006. He worked as assistant manager with HSBC Bank for over a year before joining Sanofi Pasteur as assistant manager – HR (sales) in 2008. Two years into this role, he was elevated to senior manager – human resources, based out of Mumbai.
The year 2013 saw him heading human resources at Lord India. For a year he worked with the managing director and regional HR director to ensure effective functioning of the HR department to provide HR support for the business.
His next stop was Roche, where he joined as senior manager, attraction and sourcing in February 2014. In this role, he led the talent-acquisition function for Roche Pharma India, ensuring timely vacancy management and capability building of the organisation. He was promoted to associate director – human resources in 2016. He led the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for talent acquisition, compensation and benefits as well as employee relations functions.
In 2019, Jadhav moved on to Imerys as India human resource director based out of Nagpur. This stint lasted less than four years.
From 2018 onwards he was associated with Calderys. He joined as director – human resources, and over four and a half years later was promoted to group talent and development director.
Known for his exceptional leadership, coaching and people skills, Jadhav will surely prove to be an asset to Infiiloom.
