Wealthy.in has appointed Vivek Singh as its new head of human resources. Welathy.in is a tech enabled wealth management company for professionals. Singh comes with more than 15 years of professional experience. Prior to Wealthy.in, Singh was the head of HR for Arzoo, which offers solutions for the retail industry.
In the initial career stage, Singh started as a network engineer with Infosys, handling various projects at the Company. After spending close to 10 months with the IT major, Singh changed the very course of his career. He joined the Indian Army, where he was responsible for talent acquisition, career planning and progression, performance management as well as learning and development. He was the custodian for disciplinary proceedings, welfare, and payroll for employees and project management.
He served in the Indian Army for more than six years after which he decided to move back to the corporate world and joined Renault India as HR business partner for sales and marketing. In this role, he was responsible for talent management, talent acquisition, training & development, quality of management, employee relations and lead performance management.
Armed with an executive diploma in human resource management from XLRI and also a post-graduate diploma in sales, distribution and marketing operations,
Singh also spent more than three years with Orient Craft, a recognised export mart in India.
