Having worked for almost 40 years and been a part of the Tata Group for over 17 years, R Nanda, who served as the chief human resources officer at Tata Chemicals, has retired from the company.

Previously, Nanda was responsible for supervising the worldwide operations of human resources, corporate communications, CSR, and business ethics.

Prior to joining the Tata Group, Nanda held various positions at the Murugappa Group and Amararaja Group in India. He was also affiliated with the OTE Group and Landmark Group outside of India.

The group will soon appoint a new head HR who will replace him at Tata Chemicals. The company may not have decided on a name, however, it’s going to be someone within its own walls.

Nanda, who held positions at both Tata Communications and Tata Chemicals, will remain in an advisory capacity to aid in the transition process.
