Indeed, the job site, has announced the best technology companies to work for in India, based on more than 100 million ratings and reviews available on its site. Adobe tops the list followed by NVIDIA and Microsoft. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was the highest ranked Indian organisation at no.10, and the only public-sector firm to feature on the list.

The Top Rated Workplaces: Best in Tech according to rating by Indian employees are:
    1. Adobe
    2. NVIDIA
    3. Microsoft
    4. SAP
    5. Akamai Technologies
    6. VMware
    7. Cisco
    8. Intel
    9. Citrix Systems
    10. Indian Space Research Organisation
    11. HP
    12. Myntra.com
    13. Apple
    14. Qualcomm
    15. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

The top five places were bagged by multinational corporations (MNCs), proving that Indian job seekers prefer big international companies to gain exposure and advance their careers. American companies Adobe, NVIDIA, Microsoft, SAP and Akamai Technologies are the most sought after in that order. Surprisingly, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), occupies the 10th position. It is one of the rare Indian organisations that made it to the list, and the only name from the public sector. Clearly, in the long run, Indian job seekers continue to seek job security and stability in the public sector. Other Indian companies that made it to the top 15 are, Myntra and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

“In addition to strategic and meaningful workplace programmes, companies that have focused on people management, and contributed to creating a conducive environment for their employees have been highly rated by job seekers”, says Sashi Kumar, managing director, Indeed India. He adds, “Apart from competitive remuneration, companies that work to make their employees feel like they work with, and not for the company, create a culture of ownership and instil a sense of loyalty in their employees.”

“In addition to strategic and meaningful workplace programmes, companies that have focused on people management, and contributed to creating a conducive environment for their employees have been highly rated by job seekers”, says Sashi Kumar, managing director, Indeed India.

Rajneesh Kumar, chief corporate affairs officer, Flipkart Group said, “We are delighted to feature on Indeed’s India list of Top-Rated Work Places 2018: Best in Tech. At Myntra we are committed to leveraging technology to disrupt the way fashion is accessed and consumed and are honored to rank among the Top 15 technology companies in the country.”

Indeed has over 100 million ratings and reviews. These companies are rated on overall employee experience. Indeed uses a proprietary algorithm to rank companies using a variety of factors, such as average rating, number of reviews, and the history of job openings. But in general, companies with a large number of high ratings are placed higher in the rankings. The ranking methodology is applied uniformly across all companies, in all lists. Top-Rated Workplace lists are determined at Indeed’s sole discretion based on Indeed user rankings.
