Elon Musk’s SpaceX has invited applications for two positions in India at its satellite internet service, Starlink.

Sanjay Bhargava, country director, Starlink, India, posted the announcement on his LinkedIn page.

“I am pleased to announce that we are now officially looking for two rockstars to join the Indian subsidiary,” reads the post. He says that the prospective candidates shouldn’t send their resumes to him, but should apply directly if they think they fit the job role and description.

He further clarifies in the post that the “executive assistant position is not a chief of staff position and the director rural transformation has to be technical as well.”

Only computer science graduates or graduates in engineering fields with at least 10 years of experience working in the field, with additional development work in companies, communities, and related stakeholders, may apply for the post of director – rural transformation.

The role of executive assistant seeks graduates with over three years of experience at an executive level and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software tools. It will entail working closely with Starlink’s HR and the management team, aid in planning events and ensure the smooth functioning of day to day official activities.

Bhargava is confident that the jobs are a step “towards catalysing and accelerating transformation starting with rural India”. He also mentions that further openings will be shared only after the Company receives a commercial license.
