Starting 2025, Bentley Motors plans to launch a new electric vehicle (EV) model every year, as part of its Five-in-Five plan. To make this happen, it will hire 100 engineers and accelerate its Beyond100 strategy.

The hiring process has already begun with 50 vacancies having been announced and more to be announced in the near future.

While the new hires will be assigned to various departments including engineering and research and development, about half of them will be required to focus on electrical competencies as Bentley hopes to electrify its product range fully within a period of eight years.

In addition to electrical engineers, Bentley will require people in research and development, as well as UX/UI engineers, design managers and chassis engineers.

While most of the new hires will work out of the Bentley headquarters in Crew, the luxury car maker intends to follow a hybrid work model.

It has invested heavily on new engineering offices, where collaboration zones have been introduced to encourage interaction.

In order to save space, individual offices have been eliminated and replaced by hot desks. This is also expected to encourage impromptu discussions and better team work and spirit.

Bentley wants its employees to be more agile, continuous learners, and engaged workers.

In the past year alone, Bentley employees have benefited from more than 30,000 learning activities, including online workshops, e-learning modules and face-to-face activities.
