KPMG, India, has announced a strategic alliance with the national human resource development (NHRD) Bangalore chapter to offer virtual executive training programmes for HR professionals. The collaboration aims to provide targeted skill development opportunities for HR professionals across various levels, enabling them to broaden their expertise beyond their domain.

The NHRD Bangalore chapter, known as one of India’s largest networks for HR professionals, plays a vital role in fostering knowledge and skill enhancement for future leaders. Through this partnership, KPMG India and the NHRD Bangalore chapter aim to support and upskill HR professionals across industries nationwide, addressing their training and development needs for professional growth.

The executive training programs, conducted virtually and led by expert facilitators from KPMG India, will cover a range of topics such as stakeholder management, executive presence, design thinking, communication excellence, project management, analytics for managers, and finance for HR managers. These programs will cater to HR professionals at all career levels, from junior to mid to senior positions.

One of the highlights of these programs is the practical application of concepts, allowing participants to gain insights that can be directly implemented in their workplaces. The training also encourages HR professionals to foster a culture of continuous learning within their organisations.

Vijay Gogoi, partner and lead of learning services, KPMG India, expressed his belief that the alliance will help certify deserving HR professionals and create employment opportunities for them. Chaitanya N Sreenivas, president, NHRD Bangalore chapter, emphasised the value added by KPMG India’s cutting-edge content, enabling professionals to enhance their capabilities and drive impact.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate of completion. Both KPMG India and the NHRD Bangalore chapter are dedicated to supporting the professional development of HR professionals in India and bridging the existing skills gap.

KPMG India, established in 1993, operates across major cities and offers a wide range of professional services. The NHRD Bangalore Chapter, founded in 1989, serves as a catalyst in developing future leaders and conducts various initiatives for HR professionals, academia, and students.
