Singapore-based cryptocurrency, YES WORLD Token, which is operated by YES WORLD Climate Tech, plans to hire 600 people globally. It is all set to expand its global utility services.
In a bid to facilitate payment acceptance for its token, the Company had begun onboarding various e-commerce and app-based businesses as global merchant establishments.
With an aim to becoming the biggest utility token in the world, the Company wishes to hire in preparation for the additional resources that would be required for merchant onboarding, support functions, technological upgrades, as well as new innovations.
This hiring comes as a surprise and a welcome relief amidst the layoffs that have rattled the IT sector.
YES WORLD, the climate tech blockchain-based startup, focuses on reducing carbon footprint by using green technology. Its aim is to make it possible to trace and neutralise carbon emissions. The native token for YES WORLD, called YES WORLD Token spreads awareness about global warming and associated challenges so that more people join its mission to reduce carbon footprint.
Recently, YES WORLD Token has announced its plans to enter the European market, including Switzerland, Germany and Austria. While many merchants in Dubai accept the Token, there are also many e-commerce platforms that allow users to pay for services and products with YES Token.
It expects to enrol over 50 crypto exchanges post its global launch in 2024. Right now, it has only been soft-launched.
