    Job Description

    The Zonal Labour Resource Manager would be the custodian of all labour value proposition related aspects within the assigned zone. This critical role is centered on ensuring that GPL is recognized as the “Preferred Employer” for labour by strategically enhancing the connect between GPL and the labour. The Manager will monitor/govern various labour value proposition related initiatives, recommend potential improvements/actions to be taken basis learnings, and support in mobilization of labour for ad-hoc requirement by leveraging contacts/relationships with contractors/sub-contractors.

    Roles & Responsibilities:-

    • Custodian of Labour Value Proposition:-
      • Serve as the custodian of all labour-related relationships and connections within the zone.
      • Foster a positive work environment in labour colonies by formulating/implementing various labour specific activities
    • Monitoring/Governance of Labour Specific Initiatives:-
      • Ensure effective monitoring and implementation of a) various labour specific incentives (including Labour NPS) and b) policy norms defined in the GPL Labour Colony policy.
    • Analyzing and Reporting/Recommendations:-
      • Analyze, report, and recommend (an objective perspective) on key actions to be taken for ensuring effectiveness of implemented initiatives and for necessary course corrections
    • Labour Mobilization (for ad-hoc requirement):-
      • Support in ad-hoc mobilization of labour through strategic relationships with sub-contractors and other relevant labour groups

    Educational Qualification: –

    • Civil Engineer with relevant experience in civil execution (preferred)

    Experience:-

    • Relevant experience in labour management or a similar role (preferred)

    Skills:-

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills (reporting and analyzing data)

    • Bangalore, India.
