The highest CTC offered was Rs 19 lakh per annum

The 2014–15 batch of the Executive PGDM programme at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, has managed 95 per cent placement. The highest CTC (cost to the company) offered to a candidate was Rs 19 lakh per annum, while the average CTC was Rs 10.9 lac per annum.

Companies, such as Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Idea Cellular, Accenture, Snapdeal, Honda and Videocon visited the campus for recruitment.

The best offers, however, were bagged by those who had specialised in marketing. Those with prior relevant experience managed to secure leadership roles.

Sandeep Puri, chairperson, PGDM- Executive Programme, IMT Ghaziabad, says “We practise the latest teaching pedagogies with a good combination of industry–academic interface. The executive batch has the right mix of experience and diversity.” Not only are their leadership skills honed, they are encouraged to think holistically and adopt empathy and ethical sensitivity in the global context.

The programme encapsulates a broad range of concepts including actual case studies with simulations, real-life projects, debates and discussions with senior executives of organisations, startups and consulting projects, and from the students themselves. It provides a beacon for the fastest learning and pedagogy experience. It uniquely equips the students with the ability to adapt to and evolve according to the needs of the global business environment.

The IMT Ghaziabad’s PGDM Executive Program is highly appreciated and recognised in the corporate world. In addition, IMT also focuses in student exchange programmes with reputed B-schools worldwide, enabling its students to develop cross-cultural insights and perspectives to better understand global business.
