Amdocs, the software and services company, is empowering its employees with the power of flexibility. The firm, which caters mainly to communications and media companies, realises that while being together in the office spurs innovation, collaboration and face-to-face interaction allows people to be and do their best. Therefore, Amdocs encourages flexibility in the work model.

Presently, employees are allowed to choose between work from home, work from office and remote work. Employees are encouraged to learn and grow without limits. In fact, they are given the opportunity to move to a new role within the organisation after just a year in their existing role. The employees have access to suitable learning opportunities for career development too.

The Company’s ‘Be without Limits’ programme helps strengthen this vision of people-centricity. The programme focuses on embedding the power of flexibility into the organisation’s growth story. It is aimed at making the workplace an ideal place for the employees, so that they are able to balance their professional and personal lives. Therefore, it has ensured flexibility in career development, work model and even vacations.

Lynette D’Silva, head of regional HR – India & APAC, Amdocs, said “On our journey of people-centricity, we have realised that flexibility is the best for employees and us. Through the ‘Vacation without Limits’ programme, we empower our employees to plan their time off, get recharged and come back to work rejuvenated by enabling their wellbeing”.

Amdocs chooses to focus on making work “outcome centric”. The programme is founded on the fact that the Company trusts its employees and is confident that the employees know how best they can manage their work life.
