Apple intends to hire engineers and interns in India for its office in Bangalore, under its App Accelerator programme.
The Company will take on full-time software engineering interns for various organisations within Apple for a period of six months, starting January 2022.
The App Accelerator initiative offers specialised support and training to local developers in various geographic locations across the world. It has already helped several apps achieve success within and outside the country. It has generated direct and indirect employment in the country too.
The iphone manufacturer is on the lookout for engineering talent, primarily for the roles of network security engineer, senior software engineer, cellular systems analysis engineer, senior software engineering manager, regulatory compliance engineer, business analyst/solutions architect, software engineer – full stack and senior architects, and so on.
As per the Company website, Apple takes pride in being able to manufacture iPhones in India locally. India is one of the few countries where it does so.
It has faith in the wide range of talent available in the country and looks forward to more innovations here. The Company is also looking to hire engineering graduates in Hyderabad too. Those with over eight years of experience in application development with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent may apply for the position of senior full-stack developer. Network security engineer positions and senior software engineer positions are also open for those with over five and ten years of experience respectively.
