The employees of ABetterUbisoft group, are hoping that fans will support them in their efforts to bring about positive changes in the Company. The game developers working for the Group wish to sign a petition and have sought support from fans and other developers to help change the video gaming industry for the better.

At least a thousand present and former game developers of Ubisoft demand a say in important matters related to the Company.

The Company has been accused of ignoring employees’ complaints of harassment and toxic work culture. However, instead of taking strict action against the offenders, the Company has apparently only been moving them from one studio to the other.

The employees maintain that all they get from the management are empty assurances. They are disgruntled because no measures have been taken by the Company to protect the victims or ensure that such incidents do not recur.

Some employees have reported several instances of sexual harassment and racism in the past. However, these complaints never did get addressed or if they were, those who complained never got to know what action was taken or whether any action was taken at all.

The Company, which is known for its Assassin’s Creed, the open-world action-adventure stealth video game, is gearing to release new products for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S console generations, but its employees are not sure whether the Company will give more priority to its employees than its profits, for a change.
