Based on government reports, around 295,846 Saudi men are employed in the government sector, with a combined monthly salary of approximately SR 4.16 billion. Additionally, there are 1,27,575 female employees in the government sector, earning a total monthly salary of about SR 1.64 billion.
Non-Saudi women in the private sector earned more on average than non-Saudi men. Around 6,21,715 non-Saudi women got a total of SR 2.23 billion, averaging SR 3587 each. On the other hand, non-Saudi men, numbering 7.56 million, earned SR 19.09 billion in total, with an average of SR 2523 each.
Furthermore, non-Saudi women in the government sector also earned higher average salaries than non-Saudi men. Around 39,866 non-Saudi women received about SR 359.91 million, averaging SR 9028, while about 73,365 non-Saudi men earned SR 523.83 million, with an average salary of SR 7140.
