The Government of Haryana has unveiled a job portal, which requires aspirants seeking government jobs to register only once. This one-time application along with fee will register aspirants for government jobs in the Group C and D categories, as well as non-gazetted teaching posts in various government offices/departments.

This portal is expected to not only quicken the process of hiring but also ensure transparency.

Henceforth, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will organise a common eligibility test (CET) to fill vacancies in the Group C and D categories, separately, which will be valid for three years. The interview process for these categories has also been done away with.

The portal has already begun accepting registrations and will continue to do so till the end of March 2021. Even students appearing for their Class 10 and 12 board examinations are allowed to send in their provisional applications. With the launch of this portal, job seekers will not have to get their documents verified repeatedly.

The candidates who register on the portal will be assigned a unique ID number, using which they can apply for posts suited to their experience and qualifications.

The police department in Haryana has recruited at least 8,000 police personnel in a period of six years, maintain utmost transparency throughout. The Haryana government claims to have provided employment to about 80,000 people in various government departments based on merit alone.
