PickMyWork, the Indian digital distribution network — that helps digital companies acquire end customers (individual users as well as shops) — has announced its intention to expand its agent network by 10X and empower over one lakh agents. The network currently has 10,000 gig workers and merchants. This network allows PickMyWork to support consumer tech companies looking to reach end users and merchants.

“We aim at supporting consumer tech companies while also creating income opportunities in tier 2 and tier 3 cities,” said Kajal Malik co-founder & CSO, PickMyWork.

PickMyWork is trying to create earning opportunities for workers —especially those who were rendered jobless during the pandemic — in tier1 and tier 2 cities so that they are able to gradually settle down in their lives again in the comfort of their hometowns. Its initiative has brought a lot of hope to many jobless / gig workers.

The Gurugram-based startup’s current 35-strong team will soon expand. The Company is looking for talent across multiple departments including tech, business development, marketing, alliances & partnerships.

In “trying to establish a holistic model for all”, the platform has “seen overwhelming results” and is ready to now “look to scale 10x” according to Malik.

The company, which operates on a pay-per-task model, is looking to strengthen its in-house team, which means more permanent jobs will be created. This is also in line with PickMyWork’s fiscal targets.

Many consumer tech companies from tier 2 and tier 3 cities that were struggling to penetrate the market are now associating with PickMyWork for better return on investment and faster results. Meesho, Freecharge, AU Small Finance Bank and other B2B giants are part of its clientele.
