Punjab employment generation, skill development and training department is organising a pan Punjab placement drive, known as Rozgar Mela, on June 7. The drive aims to provide over 10,000 job opportunities to job seekers across various districts. The salary range for these positions will vary from Rs 8,000 to Rs 60,000.

Aman Arora, employment generation, skill development and training minister, Punjab, shared that the placement drive will be held simultaneously in all districts. More than 425 well-known employers, including Vardhman, Sportking, Flipkart, Airtel, and Reliance, will be participating in this drive.

The placement drive welcomes individuals from diverse educational backgrounds, such as postgraduates, graduates (both technical and non-technical), diploma holders, ITI graduates, and candidates with 12th and matriculation qualifications. Even those without any formal educational qualifications are encouraged to participate.

Interested candidates can register through the job portal at  http://www.pgrkam.com or through their respective District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises. They can also visit the designated placement drive venues directly. The venue details are available on the department’s job portal.

Arora highlights the inclusivity of the drive, providing opportunities for job seekers from various educational backgrounds. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers while promoting skill development and training within the state.

The pan Punjab placement drive serves as a significant platform for individuals seeking employment, offering a wide range of opportunities across different industries. It reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to promoting economic growth, fostering skill development, and providing job prospects for the state’s residents.
