    Niren Srivastava appointed group CHRO, Motilal Oswal Financial Services

    Having begun his professional journey with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance in 2005, as deputy manager – HR, Niren Srivastava spent two years there before moving to Yes Bank as senior manager, in 2007. There, he designed, developed and implemented a comprehensive HRIT system for the 3500-strong workforce spread across 120 locations. Less than three years into this role, he switched to Aditya Birla Group, in 2009.

    Srivastava’s stint with the Aditya Birla Group was probably the longest of his career. He started off as a senior manager – HR in 2009. In a year and a half, he was promoted to zonal head – HR, based out of Ahmedabad. He managed end-to-end HR responsibilities for 105 branches and over 2200 employees through regional HR managers. September of 2012 saw him don the hat of chief manager – HR business partnership. Working out of Mumbai, he handled HR business partnership pan India for third-party distributors. By 2014, he had climbed up to the position of associate vice president – human resources, handling employee life cycle management for over 2000 employees.

    From 2015 to 2018, he was with Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund as vice president & head – business HR. Then, he moved within the same Group, to Aditya Birla Health Insurance, as EVP and head – HR, L&D and administration. He drove the entire people agenda for the Company with a 4,000-strong workforce.

    An alumnus of IBS, Hyderabad, Srivastava also holds a Hogan Assessments Certification. He is known to be a committed HR professional who is passionate about the profession.
