    Pepperfry elevates Joee De Choudhury as new lead of HR

    Pepperfry, one of India’s largest e-commerce for home goods has appointed Joee De Choudhury as its new lead for human resources.

    Choudhury started her career at Pepperfry as an associate – HR in January 2015 and left within a year. In 2020, as part of her second stint at the company, she was appointed as an assistant manager for HR and has since been an integral part of the talent acquisition agenda of the organisation that has in turn led her to her new role as lead HR.

    She started her career 10 years ago as a management trainee a few years after graduating from Welingkar Institute of Management with a Master’s degree in HR.

    A well rounded professional, Choudhury has worked across numerous sectors including IT, consulting and real estate.

    Her experience and vast knowledge of the industry will help her develop into a top HR professional during her second stint at Pepperfry.

    In her new role, Choudhury will be responsible for building capabilities, a culture of enablement, HR strategy, and excellence for enabling Pepperfry to be a future-ready organisation.

    When asked about this new opportunity she said the organisation had been a powerful motivation for her to achieve and strengthen her goals.

    She said she is energised to lead and work along the HR team at Pepperfry and hopes that they push her to enable the organisation’s growth ambitions.
