    Poornima Kamath is the new head of people & culture at Fi

    Fi, the money-management app has roped in Poornima Kamath as the head of people & culture.

    Kamath, who comes with almost two decades of experience, has moved from Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, where she was head – sales and commercial HR.

    Having started her HR journey with Mysis Healthcare in 2001, as an HR executive, she joined Microsoft three years later.

    At Microsoft, she began with global talent acquisition – university & lateral, in 2005, based out of Bangalore. For over six years, she responsibly handled talent acquisition of industry hires for the Global Technical Support (GTSC)business in Bangalore. She contributed to the successful hiring of over 400 professionals in GTSC.

    By 2012, she was elevated to HR manager / site lead – services global delivery. For the next three years, she was responsible for driving the people agenda for Infrastructure Practice for Service Global Delivery business across multiple regions in India, the Middle East, South Africa and Eastern Europe. During this assignment, she was responsible for designing and executing the talent strategy for the organisation. By 2017, she became HR manager / site lead – Research India, APAC Services, based out of Bangalore. She spent a total of almost 13 years at Microsoft.

    Her next stop was Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, where she joined as national head – HR, corporate & services. Two years into the role, she was elevated to chief diversity and inclusion officer. In 2021, she became head – sales and commercial HR.

    A commerce graduate from Bangalore University and an alumna of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, technical recruiting and talent management are her forte.

    In her new role at Fi, she will contribute to the culture of the Company, which is on a path to revolutionise the way the next generation of Indians handle their money.
