Senior executives at Ola Electric put in their papers

Last week, the director – HR at Ola Electric quit, and now the senior director and business head of charging network has followed suit

Ola Electric, the electric mobility company has been witnessing a spate of resignations over the past 24 months.

Close on the heels of Ranjit Kondeshan, director – HR, Ola Electric putting in his papers, now Yashwant Kumar, senior director and business head – charging network, Ola Electric has also resigned. He is the 32nd person to quit the Company since 2020.

Before joining Ola Electric Mobility as director –HR in May 2021, Ranjit Kondeshan was full-time director at Visa. He was based out of Maharashtra for three years in this role. An alumnus of ISB&M, Kondeshan has been associated with LG Electronics and Fullerton India Credit Company in the initial years of his career.

In March 2011, he joined eClerx Services as senior process manager in 2010. A year later, he moved to Haworth India as manager – HR, India and the Middle East, wherein he handled IR issues and designed HR strategy around recruitments for more than two and a half years. From 2013 to 2014, he served as manager – HR for Haworth Singapore, reporting to APAC head of HR and India CEO. During his tenure with Haworth, he successfully conceptualised and implemented a rewards and recognition programme for India in collaboration with hub finance teams, to drive revenue growth.

His next stop was OCwen Financial Solutions, where he joined as manager – HR in 2014. A three-year stint later, he moved to Bajaj Allianz Life in 2017 as senior HR manager, where he served for a short stint of eight months before joining Visa in May 2018.
