upGrad KnowledgeHut, Bangalore-based technology skilling provider, which is part of Asian higher edtech major, upGrad, has appointed Swati Topno as director of human resources.

Topno moves from Infinity Learn, where she was head – human resources, since September 2021, based out of Hyderabad.

Having completed her MBA in human resource management and services, from the Symbiosis International University, Topno began her HR journey with Anand Group India. After a short one and a half year stint, she joined PepsiCo, handling organisational capability, human resources, based out of Pune.

Five years later, she moved to Capgemini, to handle talent management. She was the performance management specialist for corporate HR, Capgemini Financial Services.

In 2014, she joined Deloitte India (Offices of the US) as talent management – performance management SME. Four successful years later, she moved to Flipkart in 2018, as regional human resources business partner. This stint lasted only about a year and a half and by 2021, she joined Infinity Learn.

In this new assignment at KnowledgeHut, Topno will focus on implementing the Company’s people strategy, building capability for expansion, resourcing, talent development, and enabling culture frameworks that build KnowledgeHut as an Employer of Choice.

Given her areas of expertise — employee engagement, recruitment, training and development planning and executing, vendor management, performance management, talent development initiatives as competency mapping and HiPot framework — the fundamental skills she has acquired in her career so far, will be an asset to KnowledgeHut, the global ed-tech platform, committed to equipping the world’s workforce with the skills of the future via outcome-based immersive learning.
