CVC Capital Partners looks to hire top talent for its upcoming India office

Discussions are on with a select set of private equity professionals, and the hiring is expected to close soon.

CVC Capital Partners, the global private equity (PE) firm is looking to establish its presence in India, and hence, if some reports are to be believed, it may already be in the process of hiring senior executives for the same.

As per some reports, they are looking to hire a senior person to head the India operations. The company is apparently in discussions with a select set of private equity professionals for the same and the hiring is expected to close soon.

Apart from hiring one India head, the PE firm may also be looking to employ one or two more people.

CVC Capital, which raised its CVC Fund I in 1996, has since raised commitments of more than $85 billion for various PE equity and credit funds, according to the firm’s website.

Across all its active funds, CVC is currently invested in around 50 firms across Europe, Asia and the US.
