    Delhi Metro seeks candidates for general manager post; offers pay scale of Rs 51300–73000

    Candidates with LLB or LLM, upto 55 years old, may apply
    Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced various vacancies, at the middle as well as senior levels, with attractive salaries. The selected candidate for the post of general manager – legal, will be eligible for a payscale of Rs 51300 to Rs 73000!

    While a master’s degree is desirable for the post of GM (legal), the minimum eligibility criteria is Bachelor of Law or LLB with 55 per cent marks/equivalent CGPA from a government recognised university or institute. Only those upto the age of 55 may apply before September 20, 2018.

    In a bid to fulfill the urgent requirement of staff for DMRC as well as its associated projects, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has invited applications for other mid to senior level posts as well.
    CAs/ICWA below 45 years may apply for the post deputy general manager (finance), with a payscale of Rs 29100–54500.
    The same criteria applies to the post of assistant manager (finance), with a payscale of Rs 20,600 to 46,500. Candidates for both posts are expected to have working knowledge of handling financial matters of large projects. The last date to apply is the October 3, 2018.

    To apply for the post of manager- land, the candidate should be between 58 and 62 years of age, either still working for or retired from the Central Government or government of GNCT of Delhi in grade Rs 15600 – 39100 (GP-6600) CDA (Pre-revised) . The offered payscale is Rs 60,700/-. The candidate should possess a diploma or degree in civil engineering from a government-recognised university/institute. The same criteria applies to applicants for the post of assistant manager, where the salary offered is Rs 47,800/-
    The last date to apply is October 1, 2018.
    The candidate seeking consideration for the post of deputy GM (Hindi) is eligible for a payscale of Rs 29100 to 54500. Only those between 45 and 50 years of age need apply before September 28, 2018.

    Those with an LLB degree with minimum 55 per cent marks/equivalent CGPA from a government- recognised university/institute may apply for the post of manager (legal). The payoffered is Rs 24900-50500. Those between 45 and 50 years of age may send in their applications by October 5, 2018.

    Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, with operations in Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Kochi, Vijaywada, Mumbai and Lucknow, presently has 11500 employees. It carries over 2.8 million passengers per day in Delhi & NCR alone.
