The Company plans to increase its order volume and scale up logistics to meet growing demand.

The mobile food delivery company, Foodpanda, is all set to bring about a significant increase in its order volume. It aims to create an all-in-one, unified food ordering experience for its clientele.

The Company realises that it requires a strong delivery team to achieve this goal.

In an attempt to achieve its objective of offering seamless service, the online food ordering and delivery platform plans to recruit 60,000 delivery riders within the next 60 days.

The Company plans to create strategic and long-term relationships with its partner restaurants. It also intends to keep growing the list of outlets on its platform.

Foodpanda understands the need to scale up logistics to be able to fulfil the growing requirements of the business, which is why it has set itself a target of hiring 60,000 delivery riders by October.

To accomplish its goals, Foodpanda plans to take advantage of the technology and logistical expertise of Ola, so that it can make the food ordering and delivery experience a satisfying and delightful
    one for its valued customers.

Foodpanda India deals with over 30,000 food orders in a day across 150 cities in the country.

Last year, the taxi aggregator Ola had bought Foodpanda India from its German parent, Berlin-based Delivery Hero Group in a stock deal worth $40 million. The burgeoning food-delivery market in India has not only grown but also become more competitive in the past one year.
