There is good news for job seeking IT professionals in India. The global airline, the Emirates Group, is looking to hire IT experts with skills in the areas of software engineering, DevOps, hybrid cloud, agile delivery, technical product management, digital workplace, cybersecurity, IT architecture, innovation and service management.

The Group’s recruitment drive will begin on 25 September. Participation will only be through invites.

Those keen to work on cutting-edge projects across B2C, B2B, support functions and operations for more than 40 brands and businesses in Dubai and globally, may try their luck.

Candidates can expect great opportunities to introduce advance technologies and the latest applications to airline operations; develop flexible and user-friendly customer interfaces, using in-depth data analysis; and implement machine learning and robotics in partnership with industry leaders.

As per Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Chief Operating Officer, the global airline is “looking for continuous product improvements and efficiency across our operations, and we are investing in tomorrow to take advantage of technological evolution and to upskill our employees. We are keen to attract talent to be part of our IT workforce”.

The IT team at Emirates is equipped with advanced tools, technologies and patterns including cloud services, microservices, API management, event streaming, robotics, DevOps, biometrics including facial recognition, web and native mobile development, and modern programming languages including ReactJS, full stack Java, .NET and Python.

The Group has “an array of exciting and challenging tech and innovation projects in the pipeline, some of which will shape many of our day-to-day processes and activities. We know these will form the bedrock of dream careers for tech professionals.”

The Group’s IT team is responsible for building and maintaining software and systems that make real contributions to help manage operations, ramp up revenue, streamline costs, maximise business and people efficiencies, as well as internal engagement.

The team has recently launched Emirates’ premium economy product for sale, optimising catering using AI models, incorporating biometrics at self-service kiosks, and Dubai National Air Travel Agency’s (dnata) cargo and resource-management systems.
