After five years at Under Armour, Tchernavia Rocker has joined Revlon as chief people officer (CPO).

Rocker, a human resources expert with a reputation for delivering timely results within budget, spent the initial years of her 25-year old career, with Goodyear Dunlop Tire north America, as manager- leadership development programme. In November 2000, she moved to Harley-Davidson Motor Company, as director/manager human resources business services. She successfully led daily operations and resolved complex issues facing the business including staffing, employee relations, labour relations, organisational change, performance and talent management, training and development, and compensation functions for nine years. In 2009, she was elevated to senior director – labour and employee relations, based out of Greater Milwaukee. She also created and integrated enterprise-wide Safety and Occupational Health Management Strategy to achieve best-in-class industry performance within three years.

From 2012 to 2015, she worked as general manager, human resources and shared services. In this role, she developed strategies, planned and directed targeted HR initiatives related to the overall employee experience, particularly workplace environment, employment and labour relations, diversity and inclusion, health and safety and HR shared services. Her next promotion made her general manager – human resources and shared services.

In 2015, she was elevated to general manager-global HR business partners and organisational development. By 2016, she had attained the position of chief human resources officer and president, Harley-Davidson Foundation. After a long tenure of over 18 years, Rocker switched to Under Armour, the popular sports wear brand, joining as EVP, chief people and culture, in 2019.

Known as an inspiring and passionate leader with a keen understanding of business needs and goals, Rocker will surely rock it as CPO, Savoy, Revlon.
