Applications have been invited by the Women and Child Development (WCD)department of the Delhi government for 187 vacancies.
These jobs are part of the Government of India’s Poshan Abhiyaan scheme, which is aimed at addressing the nutritional needs of children, adolescents, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
There are 84 vacancies for the post of block coordinator, 76 for block project assistant, 10 for district project assistants and 10 for district coordinators. Consultant posts are also available— one each for planning monitoring and evaluation; health and nutrition; and capacity building and BCC. One vacancy each has been announced for the post of accountant, project associate, secretarial assistant/ DEO and office messenger peon.
Only those below the age of 55 may apply for the posts of consultant-planning, monitoring and evaluation, and consultant-health and nutrition.
The maximum age of candidates interested in the posts of consultant-capacity building & BCC, project associates, district coordinators, district project assistant, block coordinator and block project assistant is 35 years.
The age limit for candidates applying for accountant and secretarial assistant/ DEO posts is 28 years. Only those below the age of 27 can apply for office messenger/peon post.
As per the notification, no interview letters will be sent. Instead, the eligible candidates will be called for interview via e-mail.
