Viraj Profiles, Indian stainless steel manufacturing company of long products, plans to hire at least 1,200 ITI and diploma holders this year. The Company has been hiring candidates throughout the pandemic.

It is picking up suitable candidates via campus hiring and also holding online interviews. It has already made about 200 offers at various industrial training institutes (ITIs) in India. The selected candidates will be working in various roles including that of bay managers, supervisors and shift-in-charge.

Using a mix of theory and practicals, the programme will provide business skills as well as functional knowledge, combined with hands-on experience. Viraj Profiles will shortlist candidates for this self-developed induction programme that will last for more than three weeks. The training will give them a fair idea of the manufacturing process and the work that goes on in each unit across verticals.

This is the Company’s way of offering learning opportunities to interested candidates, and also ensure that they land jobs and get to work on projects of international significance. This is also part of the Company’s corporate social responsibility, by making sure that no one possessing the suitable talent misses out on an opportunity.
