Vedantu, the ed-tech platform, is looking to hire 2,500 employees over the next three months, as part of its plan to increase presence in smaller cities. The current workforce, which is 6,000 strong, will soon expand to 8,500 as Vedantu takes on more talent in its product, technology, academics, marketing and business divisions.

It will hire entry-level as well as mid-level candidates from business schools and engineering institutes across India.

The objective is to offer job opportunities to product developers, engineers, academic counselors, and marketing talent from across the country to create a diverse talent pool.

The live online learning platform witnessed six to seven times growth last year, with 75 million hours of live online classes delivered in 2020. There was exponential growth in the number of students who attended live classes, to 6.3 million across the K-12 category and competitive exams, such as JEE and NEET.

Vamsi Krishna, CEO, and co-founder, Vedantu reveals that the Company has always strived to create a system that will make children feel cared for and inspire them to learn. “With the boom in online learning adoption, we aim to hire highly driven and inspired individuals who can become a part of the Vedantu mission. We are further expanding our presence in tier 2 and 3 markets, and with a strong team, we aim to impact many more lives and grow from strength to strength,” he adds.

In a bid to create a superior and consistent hiring experience, even while keeping safety as a top priority, Vedantu has established a robust remote hiring and onboarding process for new hires.
