Having successfully survived the US restrictions on the Company, Huawei, has managed to secure 5G contracts and its business is already moving on a positive track in China. To show its gratitude towards its loyal employees, across the globe, who stood by it in its difficult and trying times, the Company has recently decided to give each of its 194,000 employees, a hefty bonus. All employees who have performed satisfactorily and have no negative feedback against them in any area will receive this reward.
It is reported that the bonus equals a month’s salary, while for recent joinees, the bonus will be given based on the length of service.
Members of the supply chain as well as the research and development staff are expected to be given an additional bonus.
Huawei along with 70 affiliates had been blacklisted by the US Commerce Department, alleging that the Company was involved in activities that were a threat to US national security.
With support from its employees, resistance to the US campaign will continue.
Huawei has already been offering huge salaries to attract engineers and specialised talent to Shenzhen to be able to drive innovation across its product range. It has been hiring engineers trained in the West, as well as public relations professionals, marketeers, product designers and legal experts.
