Around 100 former police personnel have come together to form a new company, Fourth Force, to mitigate fraud and criminal risks.
A group of retired officers from various law-enforcement agencies has launched a verification company, called Fourth Force.
The newly launched outfit, will help investigate and verify the background of people across key businesses and industries, and therefore, help pre-empt and reduce fraud and criminal intent.
The company, with a pan India presence, will have senior ex-law enforcement officers validating records and authenticating thoroughly verified records and documents to help ascertain the genuineness of the background information provided by individuals. The background verification process will be assisted by a robust, modern web-based application with a pan India helpline. Thus, the organisation will be of international class and standards.
Vimala Mehra, special commissioner of Delhi Police, says, “With the advent of effective background verification companies, like Fourth Force, the scope for crimes and acts of fraud are drastically reduced. Solid certification with such high standards will ensure that there is complete transparency in all industries. With a thorough system of complete background verification of recruits, it is advantageous for the industries and the consumers in the long run.”
Saleem Ali, chairman and managing director, Fourth Force, said, “The concept behind Fourth Force is to ensure that there is a thorough background check of the recruits, especially in crucial industries like BFSI, telecom, ITES, retail, commerce and domestic. An efficient task force of experienced ex-police officers, who have served a minimum of 35 to 40 years, is what makes Fourth Force effective in thorough background verification.”
The vision of the company is to carry out due diligence on all aspects of human resources and criminal risk mitigation. It will deal with all facets of background verification.
