A recruitment drive held at ITI Berhampur proved to be a resounding success as 550 students were offered promising job opportunities at Johnson Lift & Escalators. The event spanned two days, during which the campus buzzed with energy and anticipation. The culmination of the drive was marked by the presence of Prof Ashok Kumar Ganguly from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Berhampur, who graced the occasion and played a pivotal role in distributing the much-awaited appointment letters to the deserving students.

The campus recruitment drive drew the attention of Johnson’s human resources heads from key locations such as Pune, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Gurugram, Noida, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar. These esteemed professionals enthusiastically participated in the selection process, carefully assessing the candidates’ skills, qualifications, and potential.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response from ITI Berhampur, with over 720 students from various departments enthusiastically participating in the recruitment drive. The departments represented included fitter, electrician, electronics mechanic, technicians, mechatronics, instrument mechanic, diesel mechanic, motor mechanic, turner, and painter.

Among the selected candidates, an encouraging trend emerged as 139 of them were accomplished young women. This highlights the growing importance of gender equality and inclusivity in the workforce, showcasing the ITI’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for all deserving individuals, irrespective of gender.

The selected students can now look forward to embarking on promising careers with Johnson Lift & Escalators, a company renowned for its industry-leading innovations and commitment to customer satisfaction.
